Ah Goo Ger

Mei Xi seems to be babbling loudly and confidently these days. She tends to be most sociable after a good night's sleep and after her morning feed, and that's when she babbles the most, sometimes not even waiting for my response before she continues on her own. She's very good at saying 'Ah Goo' now, and has declared proudly 'Ah Goo' when asked what's her name. But 'Ah Goo' can also refer to many other things, such as Mummy or tree. She is now fond saying 'Ah Woo' too. And she can say, 'Ah Ger', 'Ah Boo' and 'Dor'. This morning, I asked her if she thinks Mona's baby will be a boy or girl, and after a long pause, she exlaims 'Ah Ger' - I wonder if she's right! On a few occasions, she strings together more sounds, such as 'Ah Goo Ger' (to indicate that she is a 'good girl'?), 'Ah Woo Goo' or other sounds that's quite now as distinct. It's so fun to listen to her chatter =)
