Ice Fishing

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources organized ice fishing and skating on Mill Lake in Waterloo State Park. It is our first time trying out ice fishing on a lake. The nice park rangers drilled through 2 feet of ice to reach the water for us to drop our baits. Not surprisingly, the kids got bored after waiting for a short while and they ended ice skating on the lake. While we didn't catch anything it was definitely worth the experience.
