Our New Home

I think we are getting use to moving house already. This is like our 4th house in 2 years. Finding a place to stay here is not the easiest of task. You have to be constantly wary of people who wants to rip you off because either they think you don’t know the language or you don’t know the market price. Whatever it is, we looked at almost 12-15 apartment before deciding on our new home at Adar Street 2/1. It is brand new apartment at what I thought was a reasonable price for a apartment rental.

Our new apartment is located on the first floor of the block, but it is still quite high up because there is a private void deck between the lift landing and our floor. There isn’t a view of the sea but it overlooks a nice park and playground.

Masada & Dead Sea

Our third day here and we decide to venture out to Masada and Ein Gedi. I cannot claim to be a historian but from what I gathered, Masada is where the Jews defended themselves from the Roman siege for a couple of years. What’s amazing is how desolate the area is and how the Jews could defend themselves and survive while being cut off from outside supplies during the siege.

This is a view of Masada from the Roman Ramp.

This is wifey and big baby eating breakfast on Masada.

The sun heats up rapidly in the day it was blazing by mid morning. Next on the itinerary is a visit to Ein Gedi Spa, one of the many resort spas along the Dead Sea. This is a family photo with wifey clad in mud.

Shalom!

Arrived in BG Airport in the dead of the morning at 4.30 am. Here’s how tired baby was and look at the number of luggage we were carrying.

Big baby’s first picture in the Middle East. Guess what she is doing? No prizes for the correct answer…pooping. We call this her poopy face.
